About Active Matter Guide

What this site is

Active Matter Guide is an independent reference for *Active Matter*. It exists to answer a specific kind of question quickly and honestly: whether the game is out, what it costs, whether you can play it the way you want, whether your machine runs it, and what the current build actually contains.

It is not affiliated with Matter Team, Gaijin Network Ltd or Gaijin Entertainment, and it is not endorsed or sponsored by them. Active Matter is developed by Matter Team and published by Gaijin Network Ltd. Game names, marks and imagery belong to their respective owners.

How claims on this site are checked

Every factual claim on this site is meant to satisfy four conditions:

  1. It has a source someone else can open. Store pages, the developer's own news posts and Q&A answers, official announcements and dated player reports.
  2. It carries a check date. When a figure can change — a price, a review percentage, a live build number — the date it was read is printed next to it.
  3. Official material outranks community material. Where the developers and the community disagree, the developer wins by default, and the disagreement is shown rather than hidden.
  4. Conflicts inside official material are published, not resolved silently. Where the publisher's own pages contradict each other, both statements are quoted and the page says which one it follows and why.

What this site will not publish

  • No invented game values. Recipes, drop rates, stat tables and other in-game numbers are not published unless a first-party source states them. Community wikis are cited for *mechanics*, not for numbers.
  • No player-count curves. There is no compliant programmable source for a per-app concurrent-player series that this project will cite, so the site states that limitation instead of drawing a graph.
  • No guessed zone data. The developer confirms that some zones are PvP, some PvPvE and some PvE-only without saying which; the maps table shows those cells as Pending rather than filling them in.
  • No piracy, cheating or grey-market guidance. No cracks, no key resellers, no cheat tools, no exploit instructions.
  • No editorialising dressed as fact. Judgements about whether to buy are labelled as judgements and paired with the evidence behind them.

How the site is built and funded

The site is published on self-built static hosting, so pages are served as plain files with no application server in front of them. Traffic is measured with Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-14BZT1SKCQ) in aggregate: which pages are read, roughly where readers come from and what device they use. There are no accounts, no newsletter and no comment system, and the site carries no advertising network. The privacy page describes that configuration in detail.

There is no sponsor relationship with the game's publisher or developer, and this site does not sell the game.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, it should be fixed, and the fastest route is described on the contact page, which also explains why the site does not publish an inbox at launch.

Check dates and build numbers

The site prints the build it last verified against — currently 0.4.0.115, checked 17 September 2026 — because a live-service game changes under its own documentation. If you are reading a page whose check date is far behind the current build, treat its specifics as historical.
